Green spaces inShipley's World Heritage village are set to blossom with the award of a major grant.
Roberts Park and other open areas of Saltaire are to benefit from a £38,000 Heritage Lottery grant. Bradford Council's executive member for the environment, Councillor Anne Hawkesworth, said: "I am thrilled we have been successful in getting this grant which will help us move forward with real improvements for open spaces in Saltaire."
The grant is the first stage of a two-part bid for lottery funding.
There will also be a Council-funded £12,000 feasibility study, during which Saltaire residents will be consulted about changes they would like to see.
