Avenue chairman Frank Thornton is urging the people of Bradford to get behind his team tonight.
Their rescheduled home tie with Harrogate Town is free admission and Thornton wants to see the terraces full.
"This club cannot go forward without the support of the people of Bradford," said Thornton, a lifelong fan of the club.
"The players and management are working hard, the directors are putting their hands in their pockets, but we are just not getting the support we deserve.
"If we can get the people of Bradford behind us I believe we can go all the way back into the Football League.
"I want to see all the old Bradford Park Avenue fans get off their backsides and come down to tonight's game."
The match at the Horsfall Stadium is a replayed game from Boxing Day, when the contest was abandoned after 29 minutes due to a serious injury to goalkeeper Lutz Pfannenstiel.
It is Avenue's first league game since December and only their second fixture of the year.
l Thornton last night stepped down from executive responsibilities with Park Avenue stating ill health and business pressures as the reasons behind his move.
He will remain as chairman with deputy chairman Bob Robinson assuming overall executive responsibility for the running of the club.
