A Yeadon man is popping open the bubbly after scooping more than £300,000 on the Lottery.
Neil Bridger stopped off by chance to but a lucky dip ticket at Morrison's supermarket in Yeadon and to his surprise his numbers came up.
The 47-year-old got five numbers and the bonus ball last Wednesday leading to a total win of £312,814.
The employee, at Regent Envelopes in Shipley, realised he had won last Thursday after checking his numbers on Teletext before leaving for work.
"I buy my Lotto tickets from several different retailers but I happened to pop into Morrison's on this occasion and I'm glad that I did," he said.
"After I found out that I had won I went to work as normal and when I told my colleagues about my good fortune they were totally flabbergasted.
"Word soon spread around the building and very soon I had become a bit of celebrity.
"I have been playing the Lottery ever since it started and I definitely plan to keep on playing. Once you win yourself you realise that anything is possible."
Neil is planning to use his windfall to replace his 13-year-old Escort with a brand new car and treat his 82-year-old mum. He celebrated his win with champagne.
