Farsley Celtic are desperate to rekindle their bid for a promotion play-off place after some disappointing results and they could do that with a home victory over Kendal Town at Throstle Nest.
The Cumbrians are currently eighth in UniBond Division One, just two places above the Celts but only three points better off having played a game more.
"This is a crucial match for us, one we need to win," said Celtic boss Martin Haresign.
"They are doing well and are above us in the table after a good run.
"They are one of the eight or nine teams that are battling for a play-off place. It looks like Alfreton Town and North Ferriby United are heading towards automatic promotion.
"That leaves everyone in the top half of the table chasing the three play-off spots in the division. We need to get a few wins behind us to push us back into the frame and bring the confidence back."
Haresign is hoping the game beats the expected wintry blast and goes ahead. But he might be without goalkeeper Phil Straker, who is on loan from Sunderland.
"I spoke to Phil yesterday and says the snow up there is bad, he still lives up in the north-east and he could have problems travelling." Midfielder Amjad Iqbal is still out with ankle ligament damage and winger Danny Spence has to serve a one-game ban but defender Matt Daly returns after being cup-tied for last Saturday's 2-1 President's Cup defeat at Wakefield & Emley.
Striker Ian Blackstone is back after being unavailable for that match.
