Enjoying the magic of Disneyland Paris are members of the Cross Roads and Long Lee Scout groups. They were among nearly 1,500 people from the Scout and Guide movements in the UK who spent the weekend at the resort.
The party of local Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, leaders and family members made the journey by coach. The group had a full day exploring the theme park, and on Sunday morning breakfasted with Disney characters.
A Keighley Area Committee community chest grant paid for head gear and safety equipment, for the trip and future activities.
Camp leader Mark Pullen, chairman of the Cross Roads Scout group, said: "We had a mixed group of adults and children, but ultimately we were all kids once we stepped into the park.
"From the comments made during the weekend, we might even return in 2004!"
Photos from the trip can be seen on the group's web site at www.scouting online.net.
