Bradford City have had the administration order placed on the club last May lifted by the High Court in Leeds.
Yesterday's brief hearing was a formality although the Bantams will remain under the supervision of the administrators.
City were forced into administration following the collapse of ITV Digital with debts of around £21m.
The players went nearly four months without pay during the longest summer in the club's history.
The club's future was secured just two days before the start of the season after they struck a deal with the Professional Footballers' Association.
City's managing director Shaun Harvey said: "Although it was only a paper-signing exercise it is what we have been working towards since May 16."
The club remains under the supervision of the administrators while they continue to pay back creditors.
l City's final game of the season at home to Portsmouth on May 4 will now kick off at 1.30pm.
