Oakworth soccer camp Under-7s won their third friendly match in a row, beating Shelf 8-1 on a pitch. Goal scorers were Oliver Arthurs (2), Drew Calvert (2), Sam Nettleton, Harry Parker and McCauley Parnham.

Oakworth Under-8s a suffered their first defeat of the season when they were beaten 2-1 by Otley. After going 2-0 down they pulled a goal back through Bradley Fox but could not secure an equaliser. Captain Oliver Thompson and Daniel Meegan shared the man of the match award.

Oakworth Under-8s B were unlucky not to get a point from their visit to Otley after missing several chances. Danny King put in another good performance in goal and Adam Stewart was named man of the match for his hard work in defence.

Oakworth Under-10s A secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Gomersal. A first half strike from man of the match Matt Moore send them on their way and he completed his hat-trick after the break. Ross Wilson, Liam Fothergill and Joe Foster had good games.

Oakworth Under-10s followed up their victory with a 3-0 win against Burley. They were 2-0 up at the break with Luke Champman and Joe Mitchell on target. Mitchell scored the third goal after the break. Ross Wilson and Joe Alvey battled in midfield as did Jack Aky and Luke Chapman in defence. Goalkeeper Thomas Allmark was named man of the match after pulling off three top class saves.

Silsden Under-10a A were involved in a highly competitive match at Mavericks in Bradford. led 2-1 at half time but Mavericks fought back to lead 5-4 with a minute left. However the Silsden boys won a corner and equalised with a superb header. Goals came from Jonathan Bradshaw, Kieran Duxbury, Waris Kamal, Callum Harrison and Simon Todd. Kieran Duxbury was man of the match.

Silsden Under-10s B played lost 2-1 at Bolton Woods with Emma Procter taking the man of the match award for some superb great work all round the field in her first match.

Silsden Under-8s A secured a 6-2 victory against Myrtle Park. Both Christopher Wademan and Ben Geary scored hat-tricks and Oliver Peacock was man of the match.

Sutton Rascals under 8 B team maintained their winning run with another good performance against Eldwick. They had William Storrie to thank for his second hat-trick of the season and also a goal from Harry Eastbury. Man of the match was Jack Smith who gave a hardworking performance in defence. Max Bell also played well on his debut. Eldwick had their goalkeeper to thank for a superb performance.

Long Lee Under-11s A had to play a waiting game before Myrosh Allen broke the deadlock against Cross Roads. James Francis piled on the pressure with two goals to make it 3-0 at the break. Cross Roads hit back early in the second half, but Long lee stepped up the tempo and Sammy Bailey scored. Myrosh Allen and Craig Donegan shared the match point after a good 4-1 victory.

Long Lee Under-10s secured a 6-1 victory over Cross Roads after being 1-0 down at the break. They exploded into top gear in the second half with goals from Sean Quinlan and Tom Colgan, but the day belonged to super subs Thomas Arthursa and Ben Stead who scored two each and shared the match point.

James D'Arcy of Wilsden Under-11s scored a hat trick to secure a 2-3 win over Cowling. His first was a lob over the keeper, and a fine second from an acute angle, gave Wilsden a 2-0 half time lead. Cowling pulled one back in the second half before D'Arcy got his third. Cowling scored a second to add to the entertainment near the end. Michael Healy was on form in defence for Wilsden.

Oakbank Under-10s A beat Wilsden 6-1, but terrible conditions spoiled what could have been a cracking game. It was very tight in the first half with both teams struggling to cope with the boggy pitch and could not score in the opening period. A half-time change of the tactics by Oakbank saw them score at regular intervals. Josh Kaine led the rout with four, Joe Gaughan chipped in with one and captain Nico Earwaker scored the goal of the game with a cracking long range effort. Jordan Nurse and Danny Kaye were men of the match.

Oakbank Under-10s B beat Wilsden 3-2 after seeing the home side take a 2-0 lead at the break. The second half saw Oakbank come out with a lot more determination and soon got back into the game with goals from Nathan Lomax (2) and with time running out man of the match Christian Hogg grabbed the winner for Oakbank.

Oakbank Under 7s beat Shipley B 4-2 with a controlled performance. Goals were scored by James Lee (3) and man of the match Luke Watson-Dowler did the trick for Oakbank.

Oakbank Under-9s were away to Wilsden B great team play resulted in Oakbank winning 5-2, goal scorers were Ryan Stubbs (2), Adam Shepherd, Lewis Wrathall and Mathew Lee. Defender Ben Roe was man of the match.

Silsden Under-7s beat Gomersal 4-0 away with an impressive all round performance on a sodden pitch. Glen Watt scored the two opening goals and with David Hunt made it 3-0 before half time. Gomersal battled hard in the second half but were kept at bay by the man of the match pairing of Josh Brown and captain Jack Roberts while Jack Leach completed the scoring after a fine passing move.

Long Lee Under-9s had a great game against Nab Wood. Josh Lorriman was awarded the man of the match award for his constant work in midfield, his reward was one of the two goals scored with Sean Hallas netting the other as they secured a 2-1 win.

Sutton Rascals Under-9s showed real spirit against top of the table side Idle Juniors who are unbeaten so far this season. They pulled off a 3-3 draw after being 3-1 down at the break. Goals for the Rascals came from Luke jackson, Jack Harrison and man of the match Daniel Appleby.

Long Lee Juniors Under-12s ran out 8-1 winners on a difficult pitch at Bolton Woods. Same Rooke led the way with four goals with the other strikes coming from James Bailey, James Smail, Zak Peat and Aaron Stack.
