The all conquering Bocking side found things were not as easy as they had though in the opening period of their game with Cavendish.

The young and inexperienced Cavendish side performed reasonably well and only conceded four goals, and managed to score one of their own. But in the second period it was one-way traffic with Bocking scoring nine goals without reply.

Mark Labbett scored six for Bocking with Dane Bainbridge adding a hat-trick. Other goals were scored by David Nelson (2), Darren Midgley and Steve Bainbridge.

Eight goals were shared when Shoulder of Mutton played host to Old Sun/Oaklee in a cracker of a match. Keith Spence scored twice for Shoulder with Dale Evans and Chris Brook getting their other goals.

Eight goals were also scored when Wilsden played host to Three Horses who ran out 6-2 winners.

Long Lee Victoria completed the double over BCA with a 4-1 victory. The Long Lee side completely dominate the first 20 minutes, scoring their four goals without reply. In the second half BCA came more into the game, but could only find the net once.

Long Lee's scorers were Mark Kilroy (2), Dean Baldwin and Michael Kershaw

Fleece's manager held his head in disbelief after his team were beaten 2-0 by Silsden Athletic, and thought his team must have followed Liverpool's tactics after watching the 'Reds' against Crystal Palace earlier in the week.

Fleece bombarded Silsden's goal in the first five minutes, but despite the pressure could not find the back of the net. Chance after chance went begging in the opening period, while the Cullingworth side's goalkeeper was unemployed at the back.

After a goalless opening period Silsden came more into the game but Fleece's new keeper dealt with any threat. The frustration of Fleece's forwards began to take its toll and as they threw more players forward Athletic struck twice to steal the points.

Chris Welch, Karl Bennett and goalkeeper Andy Powis had excellent games and referee A Bentham controlled the game well.

The long awaited clash between Keighley United and the New Variety Club did not go ahead as the ground was unfit.
