A married father-of-one has been jailed for a year after admitting using his computer to distribute indecent images of children.
Paul Cooke, 38, from Foxcroft Avenue, Mirfield, who has a young son, was arrested as part of a police operation which monitored Internet chatrooms.
Officers involved in Operation Magenta seized computer equipment when they raided his home, Bradford Crown Court heard.
Specialist examination reveal-ed almost 2,000 sex images, some involving girls as young as four. The court heard he had been using the chatroom name of 'Ilikeyounggirls'.
Cooke, a production manager with an impeccable character, admitted downloading images to see what they were like, but prosecutor Richard Clews said he had also installed a programme which meant other users could download sex images by accessing his computer.
Up to 40 people had received these images over a six-month period, Cooke told police.
Cooke admitted offences of making, possessing and distributing indecent pseudo images of children.
Judge Peter Benson said they were "seriously disturbing and revolting" pictures.
