Bingley Arts Centre was packed last night for one of the most popular events in Bingley's musical calendar, Bingley Music Union's presentation, Music for You. This annual concert has proved every bit as popular as the radio programme from which it was originally taken, and this year's concert was the 21st since conductor Mr Charles Whiteoak first raised his baton on one of these occasions.

The number of people killed in road accidents in Bradford during the first two months of this year was six, compared with three in the corresponding priod of 1952. Those seriously injured this year totalled 42, compared with 39 in the same period last year.
