Vandals have destroyed flowerbeds designed for use by wheelchair- bound children during two attacks on a school.
They tore down fences, wrecked plants, daubed play equipment with soil and threw tiles from the roof of Lister Lane School, causing hundreds of pounds of damage.
The school, off Bolton Road, has 64 pupils aged two to 13 who all have severe physical difficulties and use wheelchairs.
Head teacher Glynne Freeth described the attack as "mindless vandalism."
"A group of youths have come into school grounds, thrown tiles from the roof, torn up fences and raised flower beds designed for wheelchair activities," he said.
"We're very concerned as the cost of repairs will use money needed for specialist equipment for children in the classrooms."
The wrecking spree took place overnight on Sunday and Monday. The police are investigating.
Councillor Allan Hillary (Lib Dem, Bolton) said he was appalled at the act which was part of a spate of vandal attacks in his ward.
"This has left me fuming and we need to see what we can do as a community to stop it happening," he said.
Coun Hillary said there was a growing problem with graffiti in Bolton Road, Queens Road and Idle Road which was spoiling the area.
"The removal of graffiti costs Bradford Council £100,000 a year with £20,000 spent on removing racist graffiti," he said.
"This 'artist' has done a tremendous amount of damage to street furniture and he has even written illogical signs on three trees when this was one of the nicest roads into Bradford."
Police are appealing for information about the attack on the school. Contact the helpdesk at Eccleshill on (01274) 376059.
