WORK on the new £15 million Wharfedale Hospital in Otley has moved into a new stage.
The steel framework of the hospital, which is being built next to the current hospital in Newall Carr Road, is now going up and is expected to be finished by Easter.
The next stage of the building work will be the filling in of the framework with cladding. After that the roof will go on and should be completed by the middle of the summer.
A spokesman for the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust said everything was on schedule for the hospital to open by summer next year.
