Five people were arrested on Wednesday as part of Keighley police's on-going anti-burglary operation.

Officers visited 12 addresses throughout the Keighley division to arrest suspects forensically identified in connection with offences.

Four were arrested on burglary-related matters and a fifth for an alleged motoring offence.

Det Insp Neil Benstead was pleased with the operation.

He said: "This is part of a regular operation to address burglars and disrupt their activities. We will continue to do it on a weekly basis."

Electrical items were recovered and the police were making inquiries regarding their origin.
