North Ribblesdale 5 - Keighley notched up their fifteenth win of the season against a spirited North Ribblesdale.
It took the home side 20 minutes to break the deadlock, Cotterill finishing a good move involving both forwards and backs. North Ribblesdale had an opportunity to get back into the game but the failed to make the penalty kick.
Keighley hit back immediately, with a fine try by Phillips.
Thornton and Race were dominant in open play and won plenty of ball for the backs to work with during the first half, however a degree of complacency and poor finishing prevented Keighley from increasing their lead until just before the interval. With the home forwards taking play to within 15 yards of the Ribblesdale line, Cook broke from the back of the mawl to feed Kubran who strolled over for a try.
All Keighley's first half tries were unconverted but they held a 15-0 lead at the break.
Ribblesdale defended well in the early stages of the second half until a fine break from Simons enabled him to score under the posts, he also added the two points.
Coppack was introduced into the back line and made good yardage throughout the second half and with Inman and McGill in support, the forwards were able to set up more ball for the backs to work with.
Dyson had a good all round game and combined well with Clarke in the lineouts. However, it was from a scrum that Keighley scored their final try, Hawley peeling off to feed Kubran who in turn passed to Bailey on the wing to score in the corner.
Keighley lost their way in the last 10 minutes despite the efforts of Gibson and Ogden and following the dismissal of Birkett, Ribblesdale sneaked over for an unconverted try.
