THE surprise team of the season, BCA United, continued their superb form with a 2-0 victory over high-flying Keighley United.

They scored a goal in each half and stopped United's goal-machine from clicking into gear. BCA were even able to afford the luxury of a missed penalty. Scorers were Joynal Ali and F Hussain.

Cavendish Hotel played host to Old Sun-Oaklee and shared the points in a 2-2 draw. The only goal of the first half was scored by Cavendish with S Fleet on target for both their goals.

On their day Shoulder can give any team a run for their money, but at other times seem determined to self-destruct. They were certainly not on form last weekend when they crashed to an 8-2 defeat at the hands of Bingley Town. They conceded three goals in the first half and five in the second, though they did manage to score both their goals in the closing stages.

Marcus Barnes scored a hat-trick for Bingley with Stuart Hinds adding two and other strikes from Andy Nelson, Peter Dawson and a Ben Dunn penalty.

New Variety Club played host to Wilsden Villagers and scored their 100th goal of the season as they claimed a 6-3 victory. They totally dominated the first period, scoring five and conceded one. After the break Wilsden staged a fight back with two goals, but New Variety added one to dash any hopes.

Scorers for the New Variety Club were Liam Jefferies, John Baker (2), Adam Ackroyd, Thomas Richardson and an own goal.

Fleece played host to Albert Hotel and recorded a 4-1 victory, their second win of the season. They were without three regular players and their leading goal scorer, Phil Poole, was also injured.

In the first half Fleece dominated play and should have doubled their 3-0 half time lead. The keeper was only called into action once, but his pulled off a spectacular save.

After the break Albert forced their way more into the game and with 15 minutes to go they scored a wind-assisted goal from a corner. Fleece soon regained their three-goal advantage, but they pushed too many players forward and paid the penalty allowing Albert their second goal.

Allan Skayman stepped into the roll of goal scorer with two goals for Fleece, backed up by strikes from Robinson and Anthony Scott. The team's three new players also fitted in well with 17-year-old Michael Bussfield showing great skill and pace.
