Silsden and Brighouse Town are fighting it out neck-and-neck in the race for the Premier Division title.

Both teams played out 1-1 draws last weekend with Town remaining three points clear, but they both kept their unbeaten records intact.

Silsden were 1-0 up against Bay Athletic at the break after heavy presure forced Paul Pike to slot into his own net. The Athletic striker made amends in the second half when he equalised his own first half goal.

Keighley Shamrocks have shot up to fourth place in Division One as they continued their string of good results.

Goals from Paul Davies, Adam Dyke and Kristian Hotte secured a 3-1 victory over Rawdon Old Boys.

Steeton are six points behind Altofts in the chase for the Divison One title, and must make the most of their two games in hand.

They were given a tough time by Wakefield City last weekend, but came through with a 3-2 victory after holding a 2-1 lead at the break. Goals from John West, Adam Whiteoak and Andy Smith made certain of victory.

Silsden Reseves also continued to make progress in the Reserve Division Cup when they beat Lower Hopton 4-1.

Andy Nelson scored twice for Silsden with Mark Whitaker and Steve Hands also on target.
