Claus Jorgensen believes the best way to help City's young guns is to keep his lip buttoned.
The form of Danny Forrest, Simon Francis and Lewis Emanuel has been the talk of the town as the teenage trio grab the headlines for their magnificent efforts in the First Division fray.
Jorgensen has been as impressed as anyone by the progress the youngsters are making. But he is trying not to say too much.
City's goal-machine midfielder knows all about the adulation that comes from instant success. After all, he burst into the Danish League at 18 with a goal on his debut.
But he is also well aware of the pitfalls of trying to dish out too much advice and confusing his young team-mates rather than helping them.
Jorgensen said: "Of course you need to offer assistance and pass on your experience, but you also have to make a conscious effort to try not to teach them too much.
"You might only be trying to pass on helpful advice, but if there is too much then you will only leave people confused.
"I know from being in that position, that too many players telling you different things just fills your head.
"It's up to them to take the good advice and pick up on what you can improve on and throw out the rest.
"There are times when I want to say 'do this or don't do that', but I try not to say too much."
Judging from his recent form, it will not surprise City fans to learn that Jorgensen hit the net on his debut for home-town club Holstebro.
He added: "It was the second best league in Denmark and was a bit of a fairy-tale as well, just like what has happened with Danny Forrest.
"There were a lot of good players in the team who did help me out. But I found the best advice was to keep your head and to stay calm even when all this excitement is happening around you."
Both Forrest and Francis have already had to adapt to playing various positions. Jorgensen, the club's ultimate jack of all trades, believes that has helped them settle into the squad.
"It is good to try out different roles in the team and to do it so early in your career is a useful learning experience.
"With the introduction of these young players, I feel the team have got a new weapon that we didn't know existed. The opposition know a little about Lewis Emanuel but nothing of the others and that unknown quantity just adds to our artillery.
"The gaffer feels they are worth their place and the performances they have given have justified that. They are so bright and determined and have come in and played with real confidence.
"You could see that with the way Danny took his goal against Walsall last week. It was unbelievable and he will never beat that.
"That will give him such a lift and that has to be good news for the team."
