Traffic police caught and reported hundreds of drivers with no tax in Dewsbury division, including Spen Valley.
Officers from the unit were out in force across the division working with the DVLA.
Between Monday (March 3) and Friday (March 7) they clamped 61 vehicles - the drivers of 34 paid the £200 release fee immediately and the drivers of two JCBs paid £380 to release their vehicles, which generated £10,000 for the DVLA in total.
A further 207 people were reported to the DVLA for having no tax and 18 people were reported for summons for having no insurance, MOT or driving licence or for having defective tyres.
Police dealt with 23 people for seatbelt and number plate offences and two people were arrested - one for burglary and one for driving while disqualified. Two stolen cars were also recovered.
All checks were carried out at various locations throughout the Dewsbury division, including Batley, Dewsbury and Chain Bar at Cleckheaton.
Traffic officers and the DVLA have a number of other checks planned for the future.
