A Bradford based holiday tour firm was fined £425 by Leeds Magistrates today for misleading sunseekers in their 1977 Spanish brochure. Intasun North Ltd, of Grattan Road, Bradford, pleaded guilty to five offences of making false statements in contravention of the Trade Descriptions Act. In the brochure the hotel Cesar Augustus was described as being about ten minutes walk from the fishing village of Cambrills, but it was in fact two-and-a-half to three miles away.

For the first time since before the 1939-45 war, raw, edible beef and mutton fat from Government slaughter-houses is to be offered for sale by public auction. The fat will be from slaughter-houses in the North-East and North-West areas. Such fat was formerly allocated to certain manufacturers on a percentage basis.
