Bradford is gearing up to paint the town red in celebration of Comic Relief.
Volunteers at the Darley Street Oxfam shop will be donning wigs, noses and fancy dress on Friday to raise money for good causes in Africa and the UK. Pictured sporting red noses are the shops's manager, Elaine Armitage, and Russ Knight.
Santa Claus will be making an early guest appearance at the store and the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Richard Wightman, will also be helping out behind the counter.
Spot prizes will be up for grabs throughout the day and samples of fair trading products will also be on offer.
Schools across the district will be doing their bit for the charity event.
Killinghall Primary School in Bradford Moor will be holding a hair and nose-painting salon in the morning to get ready for the big day.
Barkerend Primary School children will be sporting bad hair 'do's and cleaning cars, painting finger nails and baking biscuits to raise money.
Four sixth-form students at Thornton Grammar School will be sponsored to take on the challenge of looking after a "virtual reality" crying baby for 48 hours.
And pupils at Lister Lane School will be wearing fancy dress.
Call centres throughout Bradford will also be busy helping to raise money for the annual charity telethon.
Coronation Street stars Shobna Gulati and Jimmi Harkishin, better known as the characters Sunita and Dev, are expected to attend the Nat West call centre, Filey Street, Bradford.
And Yorkshire Building Society will also be manning the phones, surrounded by posters and paintings provided by Copthorne Primary and Woodhouse Grove pupils.
