Stuart Fielden has vowed to keep out of trouble against Widnes tomorrow - and for the rest of the season.
The Bulls international prop escaped a ban for his part in last week's Odsal brawl and is determined to make the most of his role in the Challenge Cup quarter-final.
He is one of the few definite selections in Brian Noble's injury-ravaged squad for the televised clash at the Halton Stadium.
And Fielden could be the only first choice front-rower to make the trip as hooker Jimmy Lowes was suspended for his part in the brawl and fellow prop Joe Vagana is struggling with a hamstring injury.
Fielden was fined £500 after being found guilty of striking Wakefield front rower Michael Korkidas in the 22-10 Odsal Homecoming victory, but escaped a suspension.
"I'm not exactly smiling about it," said Fielden, who was on the wrong end of assaults from Barrie McDermott and Jerry SeuSeu last season.
"It is still a fine and £500 is a lot for anyone to have to fork out but I am delighted to be playing.
"But I think I will be keeping out of trouble for a while. It was an expensive mistake and I will try and keep away from such things in the future.
"Korkidas came and took Rob Parker's head off so I stepped in to sort things out. I thought he was going to have another ding at Rob and his arms were everywhere.
"I swung and connected with him and I have been punished. I have learnt my lesson and will get on with the season."
Fielden, however, will not shy away from the physical side of the game and expects a tough encounter with the Vikings.
"They are a tough side and we can expect a hard game," continued Fielden, who could be without up to ten team-mates for the journey depending on how many players get through late fitness tests.
"Although I am annoyed at the fine, I am pleased not to have got a ban.
"Obviously I want to be playing in a big game like this one.
"We have not hit top form yet but you don't expect that so early in the season but we are as well prepared as we need to be for this match.
"We struggled a little bit against Wakefield because we had so many changes to make due to all the injuries but we have some good youngsters here and they are capable of coming in and doing a job if they are asked to."
Noble will make late fitness decisions on Lesley Vainikolo (dead leg), Vagana, Leon Pryce (ankle), Tevita Vaikona, Paul Deacon (head), Robbie Paul (neck) and Rob Parker (ankle).
Stuart Reardon, who performed admirably on his Bulls Super League debut last week at full back, is expected to be in the squad once more.
Between them the two clubs have won 12 Challenge Cup finals (Bradford five, Widnes seven) with current Vikings full back Stuart Spruce playing for the Bulls in their 2000 Murrayfield victory over Leeds and their 1997 defeat by St Helens.
