Zoot Money is regarded as the biggest personality in British rhythm 'n' blues.
For the past decade fans in the North have been starved of appearances by this flamboyant singer and keyboard player.
Until now, for Spiv Promotions is bringing Zoot to Haworth for a gig on Saturday, March 22.
Spiv spokesman Jim Shipley says Zoot has made a huge contribution to the UK music scene.
He says "His outrageous performances have thrilled audiences for more than three decades and show no signs of slowing down.
"He will bring all his musical experience and zest to Haworth, which guarantees a hugely entertaining evening."
Zoot came to public attention in 1961 with his Big Roll Band, achieving fame after being spotted by British blues godfather Alexis Korner.
A stint with Korner's Blues Incorporated was followed by gigs with Georgie Fame and The Animals at the legendary Flamingo Club.
While in the USA during the 1970s he became an actor, returning to the UK to appear in EastEnders, The Professionals and London's Burning. Zoot kept up with his music, playing with The Grimms, Juicy Lucy and Kevin Ayres, writing for Lulu, and producing for soul diva Ruby Turner.
Zoot returned to the live circuit last year with Georgie Fame, The Animals and Chris Bennett, on the Best of British R'n'B tour.
