A typical spring morning awaited Horsforth Fairweather as Keighley Athletic made the short trip to the Bed Quilts Recreational ground.
It was the home side who were still alseep as, after only two minutes, Steve Kernan whipped a free kick from 25 yards into the top corner.
Moments later James Burton doubled the advantage with a superb solo effort. Fairweather pulled a goal back with a deflected shot.
Keighley confirmed their first half dominance with a third and Steve Kernan's second from the penalty spot. Just before half time Keighley were pegged back again.
The second half was a scrappy affair with neither team being able to impose themselves on the game. Midway through the second half, Fairweather capitalised, when Athletic's defence were caught napping.
A thrilling finale ensued, but the two teams could not be separated and the game ended in a 3-3 draw.
