Has summer arrived early ? Sunny weather has brought out hundreds of visitors to most of the popular haunts. Lakeland has almost as many people as on a summer's day, with 500 cars parked at one time at Bowness-on-Windermere. Boating on the lake, which does not normally begin until Easter, has been enjoyed under ideal conditions by hundreds of people.
