A SHOPWINDOW on the artistic talent that exists in Wharfedale can be viewed at The Manor House in Castle Yard, Ilkley, until the end of the month.
Members of Ilkley Art Club are staging its 94th annual exhibition in which almost one hundred examples of their diverse skills are on display.
Their works include the use of oil, watercolour, pastel, acrylic, mixed media, gouache, ink, charcoal, pen/wash, drypoint, pencil, resin and perspex, photo-montage and paper weaving with a number of the exhibits available for sale.
Prices start at around £30 and go through the range up to £800.
Unusually for an art club, Ilkley has many professional artists within its membership and has an excellent reputation for the high quality of work shown each year.
All the artists are local and take pride in making their work available for public viewing in the town.
A preview of the exhibition, which runs until March 30, was attended by 150 visitors including the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Bradford as well as the chairman and deputy chairman of Ilkley Parish Council.
Club chairman Sheila Maddrell says MP Anne Cryer has always enjoyed attending the show.
The event can be visited during The Manor House opening times, which run from 1pm to 5pm on Tuesdays, 11am to 5pm Wednesday-Saturday, and 1pm to 4pm on Sundays.
