Staff at Keighley firm Harrison & Clough raised £600 for with a variety of fundraisers on Friday -- and the total was made up to £1,000 by the company.
Employees came to work in style wearing red clothes, fancy dress or having big hair for the day. There was also a book sale and red food for sale in the staff canteen.
A sponsored egg eating competition was held, which raised over £200. Two employees competed to eat the most eggs in seven minutes. One ate eleven pickled eggs while the other managed nine crme eggs.
A darts competition was held, with the winners receiving £20 meal vouchers, donated by Bossa Nova restaurant, in Shipley.
Highlight of the day was a raffle a director competition, where directors were a slave for the day to the raffle winners. Mark Hutchinson, managing director, and three other directors joined in the fun by going back to the floor for the day.
The fund-raising activities were organised by business development adviser Sarah Rooke.
