The album may not be out until late summer but the tour goes on for Keighley rock band Hush.

Streets of Gold is the name of both the tour and the album as singer-songwriter Don Gaudiosi and his musicians ply the pubs.

Hush play their covers/originals mix tonight at the New Furness, Bradford, and next Friday at the Bridge Inn, Elland.

They will go into the recording studios for two days in May to finish the last few tracks for the album.

n Keighley band The Hip Replacements are back to play the White Lion Hotel, Haworth, on Saturday, March 29.

n Johnny and the Poorboys perform their first gig without musician Wayne Marshall tomorrow, at the Melbourne Hotel, Bradford, then on April 4, at the Three Horse Shoes, Otley.

n Steve Tilston is among a couple of dozen performers at this year's Black Sheep Folk Festival, in Otley.

He will join well-known acts like Artisan, Sid Kipper, Christine Collister and the Old Rope String Band during the September 18-21 event.

n Joan Armatrading embarks on a UK tour this spring to promote her new self-penned album Lovers Speak.

She performes at the Lowry Theatre, Manchester, on April 23, and the Barbican, York, on May 11.
