Sutton Rascals Under-8s A pulled off a valuable 2-1 victory over Idle, their first win of the season. The victory was secured with pure determination Eddie Evans opening the scoring in his second game for the Rascals. Idle equalised just before the break but the Sutton side decided they were not going to let this one slip. Daniel Driver latched on to a well-timed pass to score. Towards the end goalkeeper Tom Hollindrake blocked a sure equaliser and Todd Duncan was solid at the back while Philip Barton bounced back after a painful 50-50 clash.
Sutton Rascals Under-10s A slipped to a 3-0 defeat as Long Lee displayed their clinical finishing. Ryan Ridehalgh was unlucky when his 20-yard strike hit the crossbar then bounced down inches from a goal line and Daniel Bowditch worked hard. Man of the match Jack Pearce also gave a cracking performance in midfield.
Sutton Rascal Under-10s B were also unlucky not to score as they lost 3-0 to Idle. There were good attempts from Tom Meakin, and Chris Brown had his best game of the season in midfield. Despite their defeat goalkeeper Robert Tosney made some very brave saves and defender Conrad Waggett backed him up with a strong man of the match performance.
Sutton Rascals Under-8s B team continued their winning run with a 2-1 away win at Queensbury. William Storrie scored the opener following a good through pass from Matthew Wiseman. Queensbury battled hard and equalised in the second half, goalkeeper Madison Teale performed heroics to prevent them scoring more. William Storrie scored his second to win the match and Sam Bailey worked hard in midfield while George Meehan claimed the man of the match award for his persistence in defence.
Silsden Under-7s kept their good run going with an impressive 3-0 home win over Shelf. The only first half goal came from a corner which rattled in off a. Glen Watt and Jack Leach linked well up front with Watt scoring twice in the second half. Once again the Silsden defence worked hard kept a clean sheet.
Oakworth Under-9s A beat Queensbury 2-0 thanks to a good team performance. Goal scorers were Marshall Peddar and man of the match Adam Millward.
Oakworth Under-9s B created lots of good chances against Queensbury, but could not find the back of the net. The visitors managed to secure a 1-0 win despite Oakworth's had work. Jake Sunderland was man of the match.
Oakworth Under-10s B beat Bingley 3-0 wioth a terrific team performance. Thomas Kerr opened the scoring after good work from Nick Foster and in the second half Greig Hudson volleyed home. Five minutes from time James Smith scored with a powerful header. James Smith was named man of the match for his hard work on the right wing.
Silsden Under-13s beat Eccleshill 5-1 -- scoring five for the fifth week running. Christian Smith opened their account and there were further goals from Sam Porter, Jamie Macolgen, Andy McNulty and Robert Wardley. Richard Golson was named man of the match for a superb performance in defence.
Silsden Under-15s beat Trawden 3-2 after a thrilling game. The Cobbydalers were in control for long periods but went behind to a sloppy goal. Jonathan Farley put them level but a stunning free kick saw them 2-1 down at the break. Silsden were soon level again through a Farley free kick and Daniel McNulty added the winner. There were also good performances from Luke Nykoniw, Gavin Shearer, Philip Rishton and Thomas Bradford, but the man of the match award went to the impressive Luke McNally.
Silsden Under-8s A beat Horsforth 4-0 with Ben Geary scoring twice and further goals from Christopher Wademan and Danielle Whitham. Josh McNulty was man of the match.
Silsden Under-8s B came alive in the second half against Horsforth with Luke Wilsonscoring a hat-trick as they won 4-0. Zak Conway finished off a good passing move for the final goal and the team kept a clean sheet thanks to superb defence from Ryan Narey and Robert Matthews.
Silsden Under-11s B secured a 9-0 victory over Bingley with Josh Banks and John Golson scoring hat-tricks. Kendall added a double strike and Tom Wilson had earlier scored the opener. John Golson was man of the match.
Silsden Under-14s a had an off day and slipped to a 5-3 defeat against Queensbury Celtic. They took the lead through Lee McGowan but Queensbury were 2-1 up by the break. The visitors extended their lead before Andrew North pulled Silsden back with two good goals. Silsden hit the bar three times, but Queensbury made certain of victory with a goal just before the final whistle. Charles Clegg was Silsden's man of the match and there were other good performances from Clark Greenwood, Jonas Bartle, Alexander Pietrovito and Hamish Munro.
Silsden Under-10s A were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Heaten. Silsden's goal came from a superb strike by Simon Todd and the whole team shared the match award.
Silsden Under-10s B thrashed Heaton B 7-3 with goals from man of the match Jake Ingham (3), Joe Healey (2), Jack Price and Rory Entwistle.
Long Lee Under-8s A continued their good form with a 5-1 win at Bolton Woods. They found themselves 1-0 down at the break, but came out on top form in the second half with a hat-trick from Liam baker and Thomas Higgins adding two. Matty Moses put in a strong performance and Jamie Gagg continued his good form with a man of the match winning performance.
Long Lee Under-11s put on a convincing team display to reach the cup semi-final after securing a 4-0 victory over Sedbergh. Midfield domination from Jimmy Marshall sent Josh Huntley through for Long Lee's opener and after the break Sammy Bailey finished in style. Huntley added his second and Marshall put Myrosh Allen clear to seal victory. Jimmy Marshall and Phillip Smith shared the match point.
Long Lee Under-10s A beat Sutton 3-0 with man of the match Thomas Arthurs scoring two first half goals. Sean Redman tied up the game with the third after the break.
Long lee Under-10s A reached the semi-finals of the Keighley & District cup despite having to play with 10 men. They overcame a spirited Cullingworth/Harden side with an outstanding goalkeeper. George Edmondson scored two and man of the match Tim Quinlan added the third. Daniel Moses had a solid game at the back.
Long Lee Under-14s scored with a last gasp shot from Liam Walsh in the Craven Cup. Callum Flaherty strike from Walsh brought the other goals.
Oakworth Under-8s B found toppf the table menston too tough after going five weeks without a game. They slipped to a 5-1 defeat with Jamie England Oakworth's only goal. Adam Stewart was man of the match.
Oakbank Under-7s shared the points in a 3-3 draw with Westwood. Goals were scored by James Lee (2) and Callum Nurse. Oakbank Under-10s B slipped to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bolton Woods and the Under-10s a team beat Queensbury 7-0. Scorers were Joe Gaughan (4), Jordan Nurse, Josh Kaine and Josh Stubbs.. The Under-10s B were back in action against Shelf and were beaten 3-2 with Luke Thornton and Nathan Lomax on target. The Under-7s beat Sutton Rascals 1-0 with Luke Watson-Dowler on target.
