Claus Jorgensen has happy memories of City's last visit to Turf Moor.

It was Burnley away 12 months ago where the Danish midfielder notched his first goal for the club, earning a vital point which near enough guaranteed First Division safety.

Jorgensen makes the short hop to East Lancashire tonight hoping that lightning can strike twice as City look for the win that will destroy any lingering thoughts of the drop.

Jorgensen believes, like boss Nicky Law, that one more victory will do it. But he feels that City should be looking beyond just survival.

He said: "Apart from Reading which was very disappointing, the way we've played lately I would like to take it further.

"I quite agree one more win will probably do it for us but we should look to push on. Tonight is our game in hand so we have the chance to climb a little bit."

Burnley will confront a very different Jorgensen from before. He has scored eight times this season, all since Christmas, and is on a red-hot run away from home.

Jorgensen has netted in each of the last six on the road in the league and wants to add to that in the derby atmosphere.

He added: "I'm looking forward to it because it is a local derby for us and I'm sure our fans will come in numbers and be making a lot of noise.

"Burnley are a strange side, they can be poor or play really well. Obviously they have not had a good time lately but I'm sure they will want to put that right against us.

"I hope our defeat to Reading was just a blip and that's why I'm glad we've got another game coming straight up. I quite enjoy playing twice a week and you can really get into it.

"Our first game with Burnley was lively with us having two players sent-off but coming back to get a draw. But as we saw with Reading, when teams go a man down it can give them an extra fighting spirit."
