The Bulls have appealed to the Rugby Football League to save them from a fixture pile-up.

Bradford could now face three games in six days after winning through to the Challenge Cup final with victory over Wigan at the weekend.

They were due to travel to the London Broncos on Easter Monday for a Super League fixture but that game was postponed after the Jimmy Lowes-inspired 36-22 victory in the semi-final.

Unfortunately for Brian Noble's men, the game has provisionally been re-arranged for Tuesday, April 28 - just three days after the Millennium Stadium clash against Leeds.

And with a trip to Wigan for a Sky game just three days later, the Bulls could face a nightmare week.

"We have written to the Rugby League to ask for the game to be moved," said Bulls chairman Chris Caisley.

"Playing three hard games in less than a week is the worst case scenario and makes a mockery of the game.

"It really is a nonsense and we would like to think common sense would prevail and allow us to move the game."

They are appealing for the game to be moved back to Tuesday, May 2, which would still mean three games in nine days, an arrangement which is a lot more palatable for the Bulls.

Huddersfield are scheduled to play London just two days before, but it is understood the Giants may be willing to switch their game to the Friday to facilitate the new date for the Griffin Park game.

Meanwhile, Caisley has admitted Bradford are underdogs for the Powergen Challenge Cup final in 11 days time.

"Leeds are on a high at the moment, having beaten Saints twice, and are probably the form team right now," said Caisley.

"That would probably make them favourites for this game and they will be looking to justify that tag.

"But this is a local derby and we will be going there to win. The Bradford public love to put one over Leeds and it will be no different there."

Caisley is also calling for the Bulls fans to give the players a send-off at Odsal this weekend.

It is second against third in the Super League as Hull come to town for the Good Friday clash.

"This is a massive fixture," he added.

"They are coming thick and fast at the moment. I'd like to see a bumper crowd at Odsal to give the players the send-off they deserve."
