The Bulls today rubbished claims there would be more Leeds fans in Cardiff for the Powergen Challenge Cup final next week.

The Rhinos marketing department cheekily sent out a press release stating they "were the first to sell out" of the original 10,000 ticket allocation for the Millennium Stadium encounter.

And Leeds chief executive Gary Hetherington stoked the fires of rivalry ahead of the clash on Saturday week claiming: "It certainly looks like we will have more fans at Cardiff than the Bulls which will be a major boost to our players."

But Bradford, who have attracted more than 50,000 to Odsal for the first three games of the Super League season, were quick to dismiss the Leeds hype.

"Of course they have sold out first, their tickets have been on sale an extra day," said Bulls media manager Stuart Duffy. "Sales are going very well and we expect to sell out soon and then take up and sell a further allocation."

Although some of the 10,000 available seats remain after the first two days trading at the Odsal ticket office, a large number of Bulls fans had bought their tickets in advance of the semi-final victory over Wigan and a Bradford invasion of the Welsh capital is being anticipated.
