The Volcano is hoping the Millennium Stadium will provide the perfect stage for his trademark try-scoring celebration this weekend.

The Powergen Challenge Cup showdown with Leeds is now just six days away and giant Kiwi winger Lesley Vainikolo is a man on a mission.

After failing to score in the opening games at home, he has now graced Odsal with two consecutive man-of-the-match performances and two blockbusting tries - but there is a vital ingredient missing.

"Both times when I got over the line my team-mates came and mobbed me," revealed Vainikolo, who played through the pain barrier in Friday night's 48-24 demolition of Hull.

"And I didn't get a chance for my trademark celebration. I wanted to kiss the ball, as a thank-you to God for the talent I have been given, but both times somebody had taken it away.

"So I am going to make sure if I get across the line in the final then I will get to perform my thing in front of all the fans in the big game.

"If I get anywhere near that line against Leeds, you just watch me score and give the ball a kiss."

The Volcano has declared himself fit for Saturday's trip to the Principality. Coach Brian Noble, however, still has concerns over a number of other players with Stuart Fielden, Michael Withers, Jamie Peacock, Danny Gartner, Joe Vagana and Lee Radford all yet to be given the green light for the expected 74,000 sell-out.
