BRIGHT bonnets and Easter chicks were the order of the day for children at Cullingworth Pre-School.
Youngsters paraded in their best home made hats and then sang Who Put the Colours in the Rainbow for the assembled mums and dads.
The best bonnets were judged by Catherine Ellison from the village butchers Ellisons.
The event at Cullingworth Village Hall was organised by fundraiser Denise Molyneux and pre-school leaders Janet Toner and Sue Wood.
A spokesman for the group said: "The children and staff have worked very hard and put a lot of effort into the event, which has got to the best one we have ever held."
Money raised from the Easter celebrations will be put towards new equipment for the group.
