BRADFORD CITY'S Keighley-born striker Danny Forrest has been picked for England Under-19s.
Danny has been called up for next Thursday's friendly game against Germany in Spiesen-Elversberg. He will join the England squad straight after City's game at Gillingham on bank holiday Monday.
City boss Nicky Law said: "Danny thoroughly deserves it after the performances he has put in. It is just reward for the 100 per cent commitment he gives in every game."
n Teams from France, Germany and Ireland will be heading for Keighley this weekend to play in the annual Valley Parade Memorial Tournament.
The annual competitionis a tribute to the 56 people who lost their lives in the Bradford City Fire in 1985 and aims to promote friendship through sport.
Under-12s teams will compete on Saturday with Under-14s on Sunday.
