City are heading for a £60,000 TV windfall from the final game of the season.

Sky will wait until after the weekend before announcing which two First Division matches they will cover live on May 4.

But there is a strong likelihood the Bantams will be chosen because they host leaders Portsmouth.

It would be a welcome cash boost for the club, who have only been shown live on one previous occasion this season, when Wolves visited the Bradford & Bingley Stadium on the opening weekend.

A Sky spokesman said: "We haven't made up our minds yet because we want to see what happens in the games this week.

"We obviously want to show the most interesting games on the last day with the most riding on them.

"At the moment it looks as if the relegation and play-off issues could be settled but the championship race should still be on so there's a good chance we will be at the Portsmouth and Leicester games."

City managing-director Shaun Harvey complained recently about the financial divide between the teams shown regularly in live games and the rest of the division. Leicester have now banked £400,000 from TV cash.

City are already guaranteed a bumper crowd for the game with Pompey, who have been allocated 7,000 tickets. Fans are reminded they cannot pay on the day.

l Danny Forrest is in the England under-19 team for tonight's friendly in Germany. But Andy Gray has not been named in Scotland's squad for next week's friendly against Austria.
