THERE were 140 exhibits on display at Addingham Allotments and Gardens Association's 22nd spring flower show.

The event was held in the Memorial Hall on Saturday, and the award for the best exhibit went to a traditional spring flower arrangement by Judith Jones.

In all, 34 exhibitors took part in classes ranging from daffodils and tulips to decorated eggs and paper plates, and there were 140 visitors.

The judge was Doug Ascough, from Burley-in-Wharfedale and prizes were presented by president Tom Benstead. The event was preceded by a coffee morning, which raised £157 for association funds.
