EMBSAY start their defence of the Craven Cricket League tomorrow (Saturday) with a trip to Sandylands to take on Skipton.

With the league growing in stature, less than five Craven clubs are in the first division and there is another all-Craven clash to start the season with Bradley at home to Thornton, champions of 2001.

Craven's other club in the top flight, Cowling, who just avoided relegation last year, are away to Denholme, who won promotion.

Oakworth, runners-up last season, have a tough first day game at Cullingworth, who finished in fourth spot last year
