Albion Sports are Premier Division champions of the Bradford Sunday Alliance League.

Their players were on the touchline as Fairweather Green - the only team who could catch them - went down 3-0 at Bolton Woods.

In a goalless first half, only a series of tremendous saves by Stuart Wilkinson kept Woods in the game, but the match changed direction when Kevin Woodhead converted a 55th-minute penalty.

Ten minutes later Andy Howland put Woods 2-0 up and Paul Sharpe's goal assured Albion of the title.

Playing their penultimate game - the remaining fixture is next month against Fairweather Green - Queensbury were

3-0 winners over Queens Athletic.

Carl Cochrane, who has fitted in nicely into the side, was on target.

Oakenshaw and East Bowling shared a goalless draw, Oakenshaw surviving for the last 20 minutes with nine men.

Holme Wood Athletic are promoted to the Premier after a hard-fought 1-0 win at Stanley Road in the First Division.

Andy Moulden was Athletic's goal hero with a far-post header.

Next Sunday's Stanley Road v Pudsey game will decide whether Pudsey take the title. If Pudsey lose, West Bowling will join Holme Wood in the top flight.

With players from both teams in Cardiff watching the Challenge Cup final, Queensbury's second XI were strengthened with veterans from their mid-90s line-up and beat relegated Chellow 3-1.

Victoria Rangers, saved from Division 1A relegation a couple of weeks ago, finished their season losing 3-0 to Idle.

The Division 1B game between champions Wyke and runners-up Heaton finished 6-2 to Wyke.

Andy Beckwith scored a hat-trick for Wyke, while Mohammed Jahangir netted his first goal for Heaton.

Queensbridge United, guaranteed the second promotion place from Division 2A, were beaten 8-2 by seventh-placed Fleece. John Glenn led the scoring for Fleece, hitting the back of the net four times.

Frank Owczerek of Eccleshill CC and Sultan Khan of Bishop Rovers were both on target in their mid-table draw.

Queen Hotel were too strong for Victoria in Division 3A, winning 5-3. Scott Parr bagged a brace for Queen, others coming from Peter Larvin, Stuart Pearson and Chris Hannah.

White Swan finished their season with a 5-4 win over One In Twelve.

Sycamores are going up a division next year, despite losing to Eccleshill United 4-3 in Division 3B.

Ben Cahill, Richard Worby and Chris Dobson scored for Sycamores, Thomas Holdsworth, Wayne Jackson, Cameron Kerin and Craig Mouatt all hitting the target for Eccleshill.

Thornton Rangers are still third behind Silsden after a comfortable 5-1 win over Waggoners B. Pete Callaghan (2), Chris Makin, Barry Divers and Carl Stringer were all on target.

Red Lion beat a strong Woodlands B 4-3, to move up to third spot in Division Four.

Luke Harrison, Phil Warden, Andy Dodsworth and Simon Wells were the marksmen for Red Lion. Mark Hird of Keighley Juniors is pictured setting up a cross in the final of the Sunday Alliance cup against Silsden.
