A housewife killed in a car crash on the A467 Stanningley bypass was today named as Matloob Bi, of Selborne Terrace, Manningham.
The 48-year-old mother died in Leeds General Infirmary after her Vauxhall Cavalier crashed into a lamppost, close to the junction with Leeds outer ring road, on Friday. Her 22-year-old daughter, who has not been named, was with her in the car and suffered serious back and leg injuries. She was still in the hospital today where her condition was yesterday said to be critical.
An inquest into Mrs Bi's death was due to be opened at Leeds Coroner's Court.
