Queensbury kept their stranglehold on the Bradford Cup finals with a double success in front of a record crowd which exceeded 1,200 supporters at Odsal Stadium.
The Jack Senior Memorial Trophy was a fiercely fought encounter which saw Queensbury's first team edge home 18-10 against a resolute Odsal Sedbergh, who were inspired by man-of-the-match Steve Brown.
Bury stand-off Paul Drake threaded a superb kick beyond the defence and loose forward Matt Galtress pounced for the opening try with Drake adding the extras.
Sedbergh second row forward Robert Bahan powered up the middle and when he was prevented from playing the ball scrum half Darren Collins slotted over the penalty.
Bury second row forward Gary Prentice was despatched to the sin-bin for punching which saw the first stanza close 6-2.
Drake made no mistake with a penalty on the restart and centre Gareth Hobson brushed aside two defenders to plant the ball in the corner to give Bury clear water.
Sedbergh loose forward Bob Chapman managed to slip the ball out in heavy traffic and centre Brown outpaced the chasing pack to race over the whitewash.
Bury's giant prop Darren Wilkinson proved unstoppable on a charge to the posts and Drake's simple conversion turned the game firmly in their favour.
Sedbergh continued to battle away however and hooker Justin Benn burrowed in at the corner flag but it was too late in the day to stop Bury from deservedly retaining the cup.
The Hudson & Foster Supplementary Cup also went back to Queensbury A who had too much firepower for a plucky Thornton side to win 30-4.
Hooker Luke Cooper was quickly over from dummy half and full back Andy Barraclough raced in at the corner.
Thornton forward Steve Bland was tackled inches short but Bury were soon on attack once more posting a fine effort from scrum half Tom Middleton, who added the extras.
Substitute Matt Hannagon earned them an 18-0 lead when he crossed just before half-time.
When Barraclough scored his second and centre Danny Wilcock rounded the defence with ease a big score looked on the cards but Thornton buckled down and forward Glynn Weatherhead dived over.
Bury's promising youngster Brett Marriott pounced from short range but it was second row forward Matt Wood who was voted man of the match following a non-stop performance in the Bury pack in a game that was a credit to both teams.
