Lee Gilmour reckons the Bulls' play-anywhere mentality is one of their main strengths.
"It is one of the reasons why we are so near the top of the table," said the 25-year-old.
"Look at the way that other clubs have suffered because of injury crises."
Wigan are a prime example of Gilmour's theory, and Hull and Saints to a lesser degree.
And the Great Britain international added: "But we haven't suffered, and one of the reasons for that is our versatility.
"Robbie Paul has gone from stand-off to full back and has done a great job, Karl Pratt has played hooker, stand-off, wing and scrum half, and I have played left back row, right back row, loose forward and both centre positions."
His opinion was backed up by coach Brian Noble, who said: "We not only have 17 quality men, but a quality 21 and 26 if you want.
"I am not afraid to use any of them, and in fact we have had to.
"We have had injuries right from the off, but we have coped because we have a quality squad."
Gilmour also reckons that the pressure is off the Bulls now that they have won the Challenge Cup.
He said: "Winning it has helped us to lay to rest last season's Grand Final defeat.
"We worked hard in Portugal for ten days in our pre-season camp, and winning the Challenge Cup was our first major goal.
"It is great to have achieved that, and now we are just relaxing into our rugby."
