An exhibition that brings a new meaning to still life art is currently on show at Bracken Hall Countryside Centre In Shipley.
The 'Inspired by Nature' taxidermy display shows how natural history and science has influenced and inspired art over the ages.
John Dallas, Countryside Officer for Bracken Hall, said: "Nature's influence on art spread right across the world, not just in Britain. It also inspired aboriginal art in Australia, and people like the North American Indians."
The exhibition, which combines stuffed animals with examples of inspired art, will be holding 'Wild Wednesday' workshops throughout the school summer holidays free of charge, and says it is not just kids who will benefit from them.
"We want to get the whole family involved, so everyone can learn how nature has influenced the modern world."
Inspired by Nature is free of charge and will be on show until the end of February 2004.
