FRIENDS of a Guiseley special school treated themselves to hamburgers and boosted the school's funds.
For everyone ordering a meal from McDonald's, Guiseley, at lunchtime on Saturday, £1 was donated to Greenmeadows School. And together with the spare change thrown into buckets held by parents, staff and friends of the school, it raised more than £320.
Head teacher Diane Seed said everyone had been very generous.
"We were there for two hours from 12 noon to 2pm and every time someone went through the drive-thru, McDonald's generously donated £1 to us.
"All the staff were driving around and they were very supportive," she said.
