Ilkley CC U-14s player Alex Bailey made a good start to the season with his maiden century in the club's opening U-15s game against Rawdon.
Opening the batting he made an unbeaten 115, ably supported by captain Andrew Rhodes (23) and Sebastian Owen (37no) as Ilkley amassed a total of 186 for one in the 20 over match.
The visitors were then reduced to 45 all out with Rhodes taking three for eight off four overs.
Not to be outdone by Alex his father Brian took five for 19 in seven overs in Ilkley's Third XI match against Steeton later in the day.
