ALL-ROUNDER Sandeep Golati dominated the Wood-house performance against Pool Mills.
He took three for 37 as Mills were dismissed for 140 on a slow and difficult Woodhouse wicket.
Mills recovered from a poor start thanks to a third wicket stand of 56 between Tony Smith and Paul Wilkinson.
Wickets than fell at regular intervals as later batsmen attempted to force the pace and Mills closed on 140. Wilkinson made a fine 41 whilst namesake Keith held the tail together with 21 not out.
This total was never likely to be enough, although two early wickets raised Mills' hopes. Golati followed up a fine spell of bowling with an aggressive innings of 67 not out to see Woodhouse home by seven wickets just before the rains arrived.
Olicanians opener Andrew Murray made a half-century against Colton but his lead was hardly followed as Ross Veitch apart with his knock of 21 the Ilkley batsmen suffered against the bowling of Richard Horner who claimed five for 42 off 15 overs.
Colton were 24-1 off eight overs when rain stopped play.
It was the same story at Addingham where the home side were 56 for one in reply to Upper Wharfedale's 144 all out when rain ended play for the day.
Opener Ian Austin hit a fine 64 for Upper Wharfedale to hold their innings tohether in the face of some good bowling from Chris Campbell (3-28 off 12 overs) and Chris D'Arcy (2-30 off 13 overs). Addingham opener Neil Free-man had batted well for an unbeaten 30 when rain stopped the game.
Rain also ended play at Ben Rhydding where the home side had visitors Skipton in trouble at 62 for five chasing 130 for victory.
Ben Rhydding had struggled against the bowling of Australian Robert Dilger (3-23 off 12 overs) and M Windle (4-48 off 14.3 overs) but opener M Booth made a more than useful 49 and gained good support from their Australian Vijesk Nandan with 27 and W Quadir with 23.
Ben Rhydding were getting to grips with the game with Joe McTigue having picked up two for 22 but rain ended their hopes of a rare win.
Horsforth batted first against Illingworth making 220 for six but had to settle for a one point draw.
Horsforth were struggling at 34 for four but Simon Collins and Aussie recruit Michael Goss weathered the stgrm in a partnership of 102. Collins finished with 51.
His replacement at the wicket Ben Scott was on a mission and he hammered the ball as hard as possible in a huricane half-century off just 27 balls.
Goss was finally dismissed for a finely crafted 57 on his home debut.
Horsforth were grateful for the services of Oxford University bowler Tim Linley. He quickly made his mark removing an Illingworth opener before Ben Scott had a double strike to leave the visitors teetering at 32 for three.
This quickly became 66 for seven before rain finally stopped play. Scott finished weith four for 25.
