A man who battled cancer is going on a sponsored walk to raise cash for the ward where he was successfully treated.
Lee Clapham, 33, of Wilsden, will walk the 86 miles from Ilkley to Windermere in aid of Ward Seven at Bradford Royal Infirmary. Five years ago he was treated for Hodgkins Lymphoma and is now fully recovered.
He will be joined by members of his family and his friend Martin Stott on the route, which is part of the Dales Way.
Last year Lee, who plays cricket for Norwood Green, completed the Three Peaks challenge in Yorkshire in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Anybody who wants to sponsor him or join him should contact his mum Marilyn on (01274) 598552.
