SATURDAY'S Airedale & Wharfedale Cricket League programme offers some tasty challenges for the Craven contingent if the weather that ruined last weekend's action is more favourable.
While the Division A programme sees mid-table Steeton visiting North Leeds, in Division B, third-placed Silsden visit neighbours and leaders Ilkley. Both teams have seven points at this stage, so there is bound to be optimism in both camps ahead of the clash.
The picture at the top of Division C is similar, with a clutch of clubs on seven points. Among them are Skipton and Upper Wharfedale, the Sandylands men facing an interesting challenge tomorrow when they visit Olicanian, who are also on the same number of points.
Wharfedale entertain a Horsforth side which has not started quite so well and will be hoping to take advantage at Wood Lane.
