A Bradford-born man is hoping to raise £40,000 to pay for life-changing treatment for his three-year-old child.
Colin McCrudden's daughter Amber has cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus and might never walk unaided. But he is determined to give her the best chance by taking her for specialist physiotherapy sessions in Hungary.
Mr McCrudden, 40, a military clerk in the Army, said most of his family still lived in Bradford, including his mum Barbara, of West Bowling.
They are all supporting him on a two-day sponsored walk from York, where he now lives, to Leeds.
He will start out on the walk on May 17 and anyone who wants to pledge sponsorship should call him on (01904) 492430 or 07919 008582. Further events will be planned to reach the target.
