Elderly people in Shipley who were robbed of their entertainment equipment have been inundated with offers of help from businessmen and residents.
Pensioners from Northcliffe View sheltered housing had television, video, karaoke machine and a dart-board stolen from the complex.
Councillor Phil Thornton (Lab, Shipley East) was helping the pensioners raise funds to buy new equipment.
He said: "The campaign has been a massive success with total donations so far running at £520. We have also received a raffle prize from Morrisons and gift vouchers from Tesco.
"I would like to express my sincere thanks on behalf of the residents to the donors for their kindness and generosity."
