CATTLE and sheep will be making a triumphant return to Otley Show on Saturday.
After a break of two years, because of the foot and mouth epidemic, the show's biggest crowd pullers will be back in force.
Janet Raw, show secretary, said: "The majority of our regular show people are back, it's lovely to be dealing with them again."
Although bio-security measures will still be in place, Mrs Raw is confident they will not harm people's enjoyment of the event.
The Department for the Environment and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) regulations will mean that people will have to walk across disinfected carpet at the entrance and exits to the cattle, sheep and goat sections.
It will also mean that the usual grand parade of cattle and horses will have to be separated into two different parades.
Saturday's show promises to be a great day out for all the family with poultry, the return of rabbits and new for this year, a coloured horse and pony section.
There will be no dog show this year, but main attraction in the main arena will be The Mount Grace Gun Dog Display team and on the showfield will be medieval group Tournee.
The sheep championship will take place in the sheep arena at 2pm and the grand parade of Shire horses and Shetlands will take place in the main arena at 2.30pm. show goers will see the cattle parade in their own ring at 3pm.
